With a shared passion for hard-driving rock tunes, Shotgun Superstars has put together an interesting take on being a band – we play what WE like and it turned out we were not alone.

Swagger, Stage Presence, Attitude and Audience Connection are words often used to describe our shows.  We truly believe in what we do because we love the bands we pay homage to.  There is no reason to do anything else!  Keep it simple – Feel it and Share it!

We started with the band performing deeper tracks from our favorite hard rock bands – with a strong focus on the show itself.  If someone didn’t walk away feeling like they just watched a kick ass show, we failed.

As good as those early shows were, there was always something simmering underneath, something that was calling out for us to branch out and do something a different – a LOT different…  Instead of just these bands, let’s explore European bands – the bands that kick ass – but rock fans in the States don’t know they exist – and these bands are STILL putting out amazing albums!

It took just one performance where we sprinkled in some Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet and Crazy Lixx to the setlist to realize we were onto something.  The audience had no clue what we were playing – but we do put on damn shows, energetic and passionate. The audience picked up on that energy and it was fed back to us.  Prior shows had similar audience feedback loops – but this show, THIS show…  There was something very different happening.

The mission statement is simple: Shotgun Superstars is HERE to introduce these Euro bands to fresh audiences.  Between the VISA requirements, tour expenses when trying to travel around the vast United States, etc. – it’s difficult for these bands to get here.

But WE are here, and we WANT to show THE WORLD what they have been missing all this time. – Shotgun Superstars
